Father invents changing table for his son

Shared by Ana Duarte on 2017-06-29 14:54

About the solution

The father became a handyman, as he needed to create solutions to this family’s daily lives, as they need to take care of their son.

This changing table is portable, functional, safe and is not expensive. It allows Vivian's mom to wash him in front of the washbasin or in front of the bathtub, with everything they need on hand.

The inventor transformed an old table into a storage cabinet. It has added mobility wheels and a cushion for Vivian’s comfort.

You can check here the materials:

• Recovery table
• 4 castors to be fixed under the table legs
• 2 boards made of MDF or multiplex 18 mm for storage + wedges to fix the boards 5 cm from the bottom and half height
• 3 thin plates for the sides (possibility to decorate the colors of the room)
• Foam pieces to the dimensions of the table
• Faux leather cover
• Upholstery nails
• Rail and drapery to close the front of the cabinet
