The PARA-TUBE is a retro fitted seat that fits in any existing wheel chair working together with disposable bio degradable and has a built in toilet. this allows the patient and end user to be more independent and as well as retain their dignity when using the bathroom. As the seat converts in to a toilet while seated on the wheel chair. We now own a company called PRD Logical Solutions (PTY)LTD. We have registered patents in South Africa , China and USA and looking forward to commercialization in early 2020. PRD Logical Solutions is an innovative company that looks for solutions that will make life easier for patients living with disabilities.

About the author

In 2011 I had a major accident which resulted in me breaking my pelvis. I had than spent 3 months in bed and the rest of the year in wheel chair. During this time I went in to deep depression and as well lost my independence as now I needed my mother and grand mother to lift me off the wheel chair and put me on to the toilet seat. I than thought to my self if I was going to be in this situation for a short period of time what about those whose going to be in this situation as well and those whose going to be in this situation for the rest of the lives.
