🔵 WHY
URLEGFIX was born from lived experience and created to fill a gap in care that no one seemed to notice! The adaptive tights idea arose during train journeys from Algarve to Lisbon for regular urology appointments. Despite having a catheter, I was still experiencing unexpected urine leakage and for added protection, I had to wear diapers. But changing them on a moving train, in cramped, unsanitary restrooms, was challenging and impractical. Winter made "things" worse because my legs and feet were always cold. I needed warmth, discretion, and functional catheter access. Yet no clothing available addressed all of these: catheter management, diaper changes, thermal comfort, and ease of movement. What was most distressful was the loss of feeling feminine and “normal.” Wearing oversized garments made me feel like my identity was being replaced by a diagnosis. I longed to wear something that helped me feel like myself again. My purpose is to offer others facing similar struggles a way to regain comfort, dignity, and a sense of self...so no one has to feel defined by their condition!
🟡 HOW
This solution was developed to address daily challenges faced by people living with urinary incontinence and using catheters—challenges often overlooked by traditional products. Standard garments tend to prioritise clinical function over comfort, discretion, or emotional well-being. These adaptive tights were created to offer an alternative—one that supports both physical needs and a sense of normalcy. The design helps reduce visibility of medical devices under clothing, easing self-consciousness and supporting confidence. It replaces uncomfortable and restrictive accessories with a softer, more integrated approach to movement and device management. Attention was also given to thermal comfort, personal hygiene in public settings, and mobility—especially in situations where privacy or accessibility is limited. The overall goal is to simplify daily routines while supporting users in feeling more like themselves, not defined by their condition.

URLEGFIX creates adaptive tights and leggings designed for people managing incontinence and urinary catheter use. The line includes variations tailored to different needs. The garments are made with soft, stretchable thermal fabrics that support movement, comfort, and everyday wear.
