About the solution
Due to the unprecedented challenges humanity was facing, brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, many people were feeling their mental health deteriorating. To help people navigate these feeling, Dr. Michael Bohne and Dr. Sabine Ebersberger, two experienced psycotherapists, developed the INSIDE-LIFE card set.
The card set consist of 40 INSIDE cards and 40 life cards which can be combined to form strength-giving and clarifying sentences. According to the creators, “using these sentences you can support your own coping strategies. These sentences are oriented towards the basic human needs of security, autonomy, relationships, and the strengthening of self esteem.“
To further enhance the impact of these cards, the creators suggest that people use the sentences as prompts to start conversations with their loved-ones about their currents feeling and experiences.
The cards are free to download online and have been translated into 23 languages. The set also provides some blank cards so people can add their own phrases and personalized the game to their personal needs and feelings.
They have also created another set of cards with 1000 powerful and confidence-building affirmations designed for medical professionals who are at the frontlines of the fignt against Covid-19.
