About the solution
My cousin, from Galicia, (2019) came to Bilbao last year (2019) to give us her wedding invitations. During the trip, she got food poisoned and we had to go into a hospital. At the hospital, the receptionist couldn't identify her because she was from a different part of Spain. I was shocked !!! How is possible that in 2019 a health entity cannot identify a patient from the same country?
So, I told to the receptionist that I was having a terrible headache and I wanted to see my doctor. After explaining the situation to my doctor, she couldn't believe it and ended up prescribing my cousin's drug to me - my cousin had a stroke in 2018 and stroke victims cannot take the same drugs as non-stroke victims - then we went to the pharmacy and bought the drugs for my cousin.
The WHO has recognized Patient Safety as one of their main priorities. In Europe 145.000 patients die every year because of misidentification errors, costing around €64 Billion to health entities.
To solve the identification issue, we have developed the safest and most accurate way to identify patients BIOMETRICS. Using our solution, health entities can identify patients in all kinds of circumstances just scanning patients' fingerprints (Operation rooms, Recovering rooms, Day & Night centres, Blood transfusions, Ambulances, etc).
There are two different stages of our solution:
1. Implementation in hospitals, Day & Night Centers, and Ambulances.
- Implementation of our solution to solve internal identification difficulties.
2. Connected healthcare.
- Biometrics is the only identification method that is unique, unequivocal, and untransferable making them the perfect identification solution. Thus, a patient's fingerprint is the perfect solution to create connected healthcare.
