Man invents egg collector for his wife

Shared by Ana Duarte on 2016-07-25 11:41

About the solution

This solution is very cheap and easy to make. It consists of a wooden broom stick, with a can attached at an 45º angle, lined with cotton, so that the eggs don’t break.

“The cotton helps me to avoid doing an early omelette”, Ann joked.

About the author

Johan’s wife, Ann, born in Belgium, suffers from Myopathy, and she has a lot of back pain, so it’s very hard for her do bend over, and she often loses her balance. To help her collect the eggs from the hennery, Johan invented a stick with a can, so Ann can collect the eggs safely, without having to bend over.
