Smart Cushion for Preventing Pressure Ulcer

SENSOSEAT is a smart cushion for wheelchair users equipped with patented sensors and make decisions by using artificial intelligence. This cushion has 4 special interconnected sensors that can sense the micro-movements of the user and send them to a cloud server where our special AI algorithm analyzes them. The AI not only consider the data sent by the sensors but also compares them to a rich database including data and history of many people of the same situation. Moreover, the behavioral trend of the user is tracked and recorded and is considered for analysis. By analyzing all of them, the AI will find out whether there is a risk of getting pressure ulcer in long-term and provide preventive recommendations to the user.
The data is sent wirelessly to the cloud so they don’t need to be connected with wire. The results of analysis are sent to the client’s mobile app. This device uses IOT protocols, therefore the results can be sent to the user’s smartwatches as well.
Also, SENSOSEAT employs gamification to incite the user to engage in custom recommendations sent to them to help them stay healthy. The user can collect points, compare high scores with other users, and win some prizes.
