About the solution
Shawn Melito (shawnmelito on instroctubles) has a daughter with cerebral palsy.
When his family goes swimming, either in a pool or at the lake, his daughter, would either just have to float around in a life jacket, or be carried around by an adult. Either way she had no independence.
Adapting a motorized water lounge chair, Shawn created something like a water motorized wheelchair, the Water Scooter.
Now his little daughter can have some sort of independence whenever her family wants to goes swimming!
