About the solution
The municipality of Milan created an email address, ‘milanoaiuta@comune.milano.it’, to collect all the initiatives for citizens over 65, people affected by chronic conditions, and immunosuppressed people. Initiative that are organised in the area with the aim of helping the segments of the population more at risk during the Coronavirus outbreak.
The goal is to create a network, including private institutions and companies, willing to help the citizens for free. The call centre of the municipality is in charge of informing the population of the available initiatives.
“There are already several companies that contacted us willing to help the city to overcome this difficult moment,” said Gabriele Rabaiotti, councillor for social and housing policies.
This network is meant to channel the positive energies and initiatives so that they are not wasted.
