About the solution
With the appearance of the new coronavirus, humanity was forced to adapt to a new reality. In China, the new coronavirus has infected more than 81,000 people and claimed at least 3259 lives.
Bai Ying, Chinese father of a newborn, afraid that the baby would contract the virus, decided to create a safety capsule where the baby could be transported. "It's very inconvenient when you have to take your child to places that don't have fresh air, like the hospital," Bai Ying said.
The capsule is equipped with a purifier that supplies filtered air to the cabin and a sterile glove that allows parents to comfort their children without touching them directly. A monitor that detects and shows cabin air quality is also connected to the safety capsule. It shows the density of carbon dioxide and the temperature inside it.
Bai Ying said the design was partially inspired by the popular "Death Stranding" video game. After dozens of people offered to buy the capsule, Ying contacted manufacturers to try to produce it on a large scale. "I don't want to be a digital influencer, but I want my products to help more people," he said.
