About the solution
In the city of Lviv, Ukraine, Mykola found himself grappling with persistent dry eyes due to irregular lens replacements. This challenge was widespread, compounded by the absence of viable solutions available in the country. In late 2021, Mykola, alongside his brother Seva, embarked on a mission to address this common issue by launching what would become the Ochi Project.
Their motivation sprang from Mykola's personal struggle and the realization that countless lens wearers faced similar challenges. Recognizing the dire need for a dedicated service to streamline the process of lens replacements in Ukraine, the brothers envisioned the Ochi Project as a revolutionary lens subscription service aimed at transforming the eye care management landscape.
At its core was a simple concept: a subscription-based platform designed to alleviate the hassle associated with timely lens replacements. Users were invited to choose their preferred lenses, solutions, or drops just once via the platform. The process became automated, ensuring prompt replacements without the need for users to remember to reorder.
Despite the challenging backdrop of Lviv facing a full-scale invasion, the Ochi Project swiftly gained traction. Lens wearers across Ukraine found solace in the platform's promise of reliable, convenient eye care. It became a significant stride towards encouraging proactive eye health management in the nation.
Looking ahead, the Ochi Project envisioned continuous growth and enhancement. The focus remained on expanding the subscription service, diversifying product offerings, and advocating for simplified eye care routines for all Ukrainians.
