"I didn't think anyone would ever want to be that sick, especially kids, because all they want to do is play and have fun", Madeline explained.

The girl involved her school and her friends in her project. She created a contest, in her school, to see who could collect more kit items. Kindergarten students were in charge of comfort items, and the third-, forth-, and fifth graders focused on activity items.

Madeline and her friends gathered 50 kits, and donated them to a local hospital.

"Kids at my school love to be happy, so the fact that we're making other kids happy makes them happy. I'm hoping to make kids with cancer smile and realize that other people care about them and believe that they can fight and win," the enthusiast affirmed.

The inventor intends to keep creating and distributing kits, so she launched a crowdfunding campaign.
