About the solution
The solution consists of a handling system, a daily living aid for people with limited dexterity in their hands, fingers and wrists.
After realizing this need, the inventor did some research, and wasn’t able to find an automatic gripping and grasping device, so he decided to take action, and later founded his own company - Gripability.
Patrick developed two products:
- Gripability e3 - An automatic Handlingsystem for people with gripping and holding disabilities.
- Gripability Xhand – A system was developed as a working aid for people with only one hand. Using the Gripability Xhand a great variety of things can be fixed and held stable in such a way that handling them becomes possible and easy easy.
These devices enable the use of a wide range of utensils such as cutlery, drinking vessels, brushes and tooth brushes, pens and pencils, that can be grasped and handled easily. People with physical disabilities can be more independent doing their daily tasks.
