About the solution
Evie was born with Down’s Syndrome. Her parents, Simon and Jo Kent, read that music can stimulate the brain so they started singing to Evie when she was even on the womb.
Simon and Jo adapted pop and rock songs lyrics to Evie's needs. They sang rock band Queen’s hit ‘Bicycle Race’ when she was having physio on her legs and ‘Hands up, baby hands up’ when they wanted to put her jumper on, for example!
Evie became really good in school subjects even ahead of some of her peers when it comes to reading and literacy. Music even became her favourite lesson she, loves singing in school assemblies.
