About the solution
Easeedo tries to solve the problem of ‘Executive Functioning’ by recognising and managing anxiety and other emotions are often difficult for individuals on the Autistic Spectrum. “We have created a software tool that supports both. The issues tackled by EaseeDo, although common in Autistic people are not limited to that group. Many other groups, such as dyslexia, ADHD and dementia can be affected by the same issues”, he explained.
The app works with visual organisation, emotion tracking, helping users with the following: visual daily routine, manage changes, visual resources, help to transition from one activity to another, tracking emotions and anxiety, reviewing activities and setting goals and achievements.
“It's good for helping with sensory processing, so if you don't quite know what you're doing or not quite sure where you're supposed to be”, said Bethany, Trevor’s daughter.
Trever founded his own company around this software, which he manages with the help of his wife.
The app has a test version available for Android and desktop. It will soon be also available for iOS.
