About the solution
As she walked from room to room in her house, she wanted a big pocket to carry a book or her paper notebook. She created improvised pockets made of thin cardboard video tape boxes, covered in tape. They’re anchored firmly to the cross bar and the sides of the crutches, so they don’t flop around like some cloth and velcro pockets.
Few years later she posted a photo of her crutches pockets on her blog. It was picked up by Life Hacks and a lot of people saw the photo and read about this innovation that can really make a difference in people's with mobility problems lives.
