About the solution
The creators behind Auctus Productions have released a short-documentary about Covid-19, that can be watched in full, for free, on Youtube. The documentary is titled “Frontliners – The Impact of Covid-19 on Healthcare Professionals” and it captures first-hand accounts from professionals working on the frontlines. The documentary focuses on the situation in New York City and Italy, two of the cities that were most affected by the outbreak. Healthcare professionals featured in the documentary share their perspective of the situations, and how it has impacted their personal and professional lives. The short film aims to raise awareness and help the general public realize the real effects of this pandemic.
The documentary was selected as part of the Official Selection of the New York International Film Awards.
Auctus Productions is a small film company based in New York that was founded in 2014 by three students, the youngest of whom was only 14-years-old at the time. Their aim was to create documentaries and short films that would “inform, educate and inspire audiences”. As it is stated on their website: “Auctus” is the Latin word for growth, and continues to be our guiding principle. We are always searching for untold stories and seek to expand the scope of our work and expertise by embarking on new and challenging projects.
