About the solution

Being diagnosed HIV-positive in 2012 gave Alex motivation to dedicate himself to this issue. In 2016, he founded Life4me+, a non-profit that fights AIDS, Hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted diseases, and the corresponding Life4me+ app.

Life4me+ app has four main components: communications, health, reminders and safety. It offers a simple system that allows communication between the doctor and the patient. The user can also easily track their test results and compare them with previous ones. There is the option to create reminders for medication intake. The app does not ask for email, phone number, name, address, or any other personal data, and all communication with the doctor requires a personal authorization code. It also uses a GPS navigator that helps the user in finding nearby hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, as well as HIV community organisations, peer-to-peer counselling and regional hotlines to offer assistance anywhere in the world.

The app reached 15000 users and received the support of different organisations.

Life4me+ is currently available for download both on Google Play and the App Store for free.
