Über die Lösung
Die Vorrichtung ist flexibel: Sie kann während Transfers in und aus dem Rollstuhl nach hinten gekippt werden, und sie passt sich an die Größe der Person im Rollstuhl an. Ursprünglich wurde sie für einen elektrischen Rollstuhl gebaut, sie kann aber an jeden anderen Rollstuhl angepasst werden.
Trotz seines Querschnittslähmung und mit Hilfe von Computertechnik zeichnete Michel viel mit dem Mund. So auch die Entwürfe für eine Vorrichtung zur Entlastung der Schultergelenke, die bei Rollstuhlfahrern sehr stark beansprucht werden.
Michel starb Anfang 2016. Eine seiner Schwestern, Christine Moulin, teilte seine Erfindung posthum.
