About the solution
I am developing a solution to detect concussions using the motion tracking and voice recognition power of the the Microsoft Kinect. This solution tests reaction time, memory, and general cognitive ability of the patient being tested. Then, through the power of machine learning, the test can predict if the patient is actually concussed. The project will eventually expand so that it can put in a portable unit for use to test at sporting events, in ambulances and even medical helicopters. There is also a system being developed for doctors to view the progress of a patients recovery over time. This test will cost absolutely nothing to private individuals for download on the Xbox One and Windows Store. Licencing will also be available in the coming years for other entity's once the test gains FDA approval.
