GlobePatient - Health Beyond Borders - accelerating doctor patient communication in different languages

Shared by GlobePatient on 2023-07-03 06:52

About the solution

An appointment flow is basically divided into 3 steps: collect data, analyse and provide treatment. If health provider and patient do not speak the same language, and a language interpreter is involved, the time of every step more than doubles and is the weakest link of the chain: anything translated incorrectly may impact the result of the treatment.
Now imagine a deaf person communicating via signs language in a foreign country, a sign language interpreter needs to be added to the equation, making the appointment time grow exponentially.
GlobePatient is a journal system where medical history information can be collected and saved, such as allergies, medications, frequent questions, surgeries, ... and later reports can be printed according to the specialization and the language needed, and complies to GDPR. By providing such reports the care providers may have an holistic view of the health of the patient, and combined with the symptoms and test results happening in the moment the patient needs care, provide a faster and more precise diagnose.
