About the solution
The Oogiebear is an FDA-approved medical device designed to provide safe and effective nasal and ear care for babies. Created by Dr. Nina Farzin, a pharmacist and caring mother, it addresses the need for a gentle solution to clean babies' noses and ears.
Dr. Farzin never planned to start her own business. As a pharmacist and a mother of three children, she experienced the challenges of parenting during cold and flu seasons firsthand. Understanding the importance of nose breathing for overall health and the long-term impact on breathing habits, Farzin felt compelled to find a solution. This drove her to collaborate with a team of engineers and pediatricians to turn her vision into a reality.
Oogiebear presents a dual-ended design that caters to specific needs. Its patent, award-winning design features a loop end that’s a magnet for sticky boogers and a scoop end that takes care of those dry, crusty boogers and earwax. The latest version of the Oogiebear also incorporates a LED light feature in its design, allowing for easier use in low-light situations.
The materials used in its construction prioritize safety and comfort, ensuring a gentle touch on a baby's delicate skin. Its ergonomic shape offers a comfortable grip and precise control during cleaning. Moreover, Oogiebear is designed to be hygienic and easy to clean. It can be washed with soap and water or wiped with a disinfectant wipe after each use, ensuring a clean and safe experience for both baby and parent.
The Oogiebear is the only infant booger picker on the market that effectively and safely removes sticky and dried boogers from babies’ nostrils.
