StoriiCare – a senior care management platform

Shared by Hugo Sousa on 2022-08-05 07:37

About the solution

In 2014, Cameron Graham was taking part in a 10-kilometer run for charity when he suffered kidney failure and had to be hospitalized. During that stay in the hospital, he got to spend every day next to an elderly man with dementia and see what life and interactions with family and caretakers was like. That led him to create Storii (and its product StoriiCare).

Senior care facilities across the United States and the United Kingdom spend hundreds of hours every month doing basic administrative paperwork. Caretakers waste days filling out and filing paperwork while they would rather work with and take care of seniors. Facility managers have little idea of what their facilities and community members are actually doing without directly auditing this paperwork. Family members also have no way of tracking what activities their loved ones do while in senior care facilities.

StoriiCare is a modern, easy-to-use electronic care planning system, that tries to solve these issues. It aims to help offer the best care possible by saving caregivers hundreds of hours on paperwork and administration. At the same time, the product also includes a social-like feature that allows family members to connect with their loved ones and follow their activities in senior living facilities, in a similar way to the most known social media platforms.

StoriiCare is a paid service with two plans available: Activity Pro and Care Pro, starting at 300$ and 400$, respectively.
