About the solution
Room is a company that manufactures Phone Booths for in-office privacy. During the Covid-19 pandemic, with business slowing down, the company decided to put their expertise to use and join in the fight against Covid-19. So, they adapted their design and created a Test Booth, to facilitate testing and protect healthcare workers.
The booths are made of three sheets of plexiglass and provide a safe barrier between patients and healthcare workers. They are equipped with medical-grade gloves and have a shelf to hold testing equipment. The booths can be used indoor or outdoor and assembled as single units or several in a row.
The company is accepting donations to manufacture and ship the booths to healthcare services and test centers around the world. They are also sharing the designs for the booths, encouraging makers around the world to get involved and start manufacturing the booth, to donate to their local healthcare services.
