About the solution
With the help of some friends, Mike developed Uri-Go – a sensor that connects to a smartphone app that lets the user knows when you need to go.
The sensor his used near the skin, on the underwear area, above the pubic bone. It bounces a radio signal and sends the data to a smartphone, notifying the user about the bladder status.
“Millions of people worldwide are unable to sense the fullness of their bladder or control the voiding process. Beyond the personal anxiety, this causes, there are also significant social, financial and medical consequences. Uri-Go is a slim, discreet, lightweight wearable device that gives users the certainty of knowing when to go”, it says on the official website.
Mike launched his own company and has already won three awards. He is also working on a bicycle for disabled people.
