Simon Lunari, geboren 2008 in Argentinien, schuf ein spezielles Fahrrad mit einem angebauten Rollstuhl, um seiner Cousine Lisandro Sona (10) zu helfen, die mit Spina Bifida geboren wurde und Rollstuhlfahrerin ist.

Spina bifida ist ein Geburtsfehler, der auftritt, wenn sich Wirbelsäule und Rückenmark nicht richtig bilden. Wenn die Spina bifida schwerwiegend ist, kann dies zu erheblichen körperlichen Behinderungen führen.
Wegen der Krankheit musste Lisandro immer einen Rollstuhl benutzen, um sich zu bewegen.
Das hat seinen Cousin Simon Lunari, der mit Lisandro aufgewachsen ist, dazu inspiriert, ein spezielles Fahrrad mit Rollstuhl zu erfinden. Mit der Hilfe eines lokalen Schmiedes, Ariel Birche, wurde seine Idee Wirklichkeit. Dadurch kann Simon mit seinem Cousin durch das Dorf fahren.
Die Räder des Fahrrads können nicht nur mit Fußpedalen, sondern auch mit einem speziellen Mechanismus für Hände gedreht werden. Auf diese Weise kann Lisandro auch zur Bewegung des Fahrzeugs beitragen, wenn die Cousins zusammen fahren.
