About the solution
My daughter Mary has the Marden-Walker syndrome, and one of her difficulties is to wake up and get out of bed. One strategy I had was trying to find solutions that motivated her to get out of bed. The last one was to purchase was a fly swatter and show it to her when it's time to get up. Because she's afraid, she get's up to go put the swatter away and, since she's already up, she doesn't go back to bed.
