Wetsling - Arm sling

Shared by Wetsling on 2016-06-21 15:42

About the solution

Wetsling was invented and designed to safely assist patients during recovery from an arm or shoulder injury or surgery. Wetsling is simply a safer, easier way to recover.
This neoprene/ nylon sling is purpose manufactured because patients can't wear an abductor or immobilizer sling while showering or bathing. Once a patient has had their stitches removed and is cleared to shower... the problem starts. How do you keep your arm secure while showering? Wetsling, that's how.
The wetsling is easy to size (directions inside each product bag) and when sized you simply slip it on and off with your good arm, or by an assistant.
As patients from shoulder surgery know, we are instructed by our Surgeons, Nurses and Occupational Therapists to keep the arm stabilized for an extended period of time. Wetsling helps the patient keep their arm stabilized.
We also have had stroke patients who have little or no control of their arm use the wetsling with great success.
You can learn more about wetsling at our website www.wetsling.com
Online sales are through the website as well. Please contact us for wholesale pricing for retail stores.

About the author

I had shoulder surgery (torn labrum & bicep tendon repair) and was faced with a problem when I was cleared to shower. I could only hold my injured arm with my good arm.
Needless to say it is difficult to try and wash this way. I was in an abductor sling for 6 weeks. I needed something to safely hold my arm in the shower or bath.
The Wetsling was invented.
I was instructed by my Surgeon, Nurse and Occupational Therapist to only touch the air if I wanted a full recovery. By adhering to those instructions and keeping my arm secure in the shower, I have had a 100% positive recovery.

The real money pokies nz that you can have access to at cross.tv/profile/731432?go=blogs&action=show&id=164553&backpage=1 is a really fun game to play. It is really difficult for them to enjoy their life, especially they are cut off of enjoying holidays or vacations.
