Mobile App for Cancer Patients

Larisa was diagnosed with Lymphoma at 19. As a public health student, she considered herself health literate. However, post-diagnosis, she spent countless hours seeking information and support, feeling lost, lonely, and overwhelmed. Upon achieving remission, Larisa began assisting others newly diagnosed with cancer. She noticed recurring patterns in their questions and struggles, revealing common issues and needs. This experience highlighted the necessity for better support and accurate information for cancer patients, leading her to create HealTrack.
