Über die Lösung
Camilla Strand konnte die Schwierigkeiten sehen, mit denen ihr kranker Großvater beim Duschen konfrontiert war. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt studierte Camilla Produktdesign und entschloss sich, ein Gerät zu entwickeln, das ihrem Großvater und anderen älteren Menschen sowie behinderten Menschen dabei hilft, ihre Unabhängigkeit beim Duschen zu erlangen.
Die entwickelte Lösung heißt AbleOn und ist ein modulares Duschsystem, das Ältesten beim Duschen hilft. Es arbeitet selbstständig und erhöht die Sicherheit. Es kann einfach im Badezimmer installiert und an die individuellen Bedürfnisse des Patienten angepasst werden. AbleOn begleitet den Patienten vom Ausziehen und Duschen über das Duschen und Wiederausziehen, Trocknen und Anziehen und trägt so zu mehr Unabhängigkeit und Würde bei.
